Spectrum Premium PET-G Filament
Premium PET-G filaments are one of the most popular materials in 3D printing, along with PLA filaments. Compared to other thermoplastics, the high-quality Spectrum Premium PET-G filaments exhibit lower moisture absorption and less shrinkage after cooling. This makes them particularly suitable for long service life. Spectrum PET-G filaments combine the most desirable properties of PLA and ABS.
The material you can see through
Spectrum PET-G filaments are characterized by many properties. These include good creep resistance, long service life and very low shrinkage. The good bonding of the individual layers results in significantly less anisotropy of the mechanical properties in the manufactured parts and means that the mechanical properties vary less in individual manufacturing directions compared to the other thermoplastics intended for 3D printing. In addition, PET-G is chemically resistant and approved for contact with food.
PET-G with a wide range of applications
The hydrophobic, odorless and chemically resistant material combines the best properties of PLA and ABS and can be used in a variety of ways thanks to its approval with food. The elements produced with the transparent colors of Spectrum Premium PET-G are characterized by a high content of crystalline phase, which makes it possible to achieve an almost transparent effect with a small number of outer contours of the additively manufactured elements.
