Spectrum PLA PRO Filament

The modified PLA material combines the best properties of normal PLA and ABS material. The PLA Pro filaments from Spectrum are an excellent solution for industrial applications. Thanks to the specific chemical adjustment of the composition, the PLA Pro material is 50% more impact resistant than classic ABS, while maintaining the same high tensile strength as the PLA-based material. With the changed characteristics of the filament, the adhesion between applied layers increases. Use Spectrum PLA Pro filaments and print strong, durable decorative objects.

Modified PLA material with the best properties

The basis of the high-quality PLA PRO material is polylactic acid, which combines the best properties of PLA and ABS by specifically adjusting the chemical compositions. As a result, the flow index of the material has been improved and a higher printing efficiency has been achieved, which gives you the opportunity to increase the printing speed. The filament can be processed at high temperatures in a heating chamber. After crystallization, it features increased temperature resistance (up to 85°C) and almost twice the impact bending strength of standard ABS. Use PLA PRO as a good alternative to styrene-based materials.

Thanks to the improved adhesion between the individual layers and the higher impact bending strength, PLA PRO is particularly well suited for the production of functional tools. However, this material is also ideally suited for interior design and as decoration.
