Spectrum PLA Thermoactive Filament

Create creative models that you can wow others with. The Spectrum PLA Thermoactive filaments change their color from red to cream with temperature differences. Since the filaments are based on pure PLA, you do not have to do without the standard properties and can create high-quality 3D prints as usual. With the Spectrum 3D filaments you can create aesthetically and high-quality models that are an absolute eye-catcher.

The material with the ability to change color

Spectrum Thermoactive filaments are made on the basis of pure polylactic acid (PLA). The biodegradable material is enriched with thermochromatic pigments that change color from red to cream when the surface temperature exceeds 30°C. The color gradually returns to its previous color after the element reaches its original temperature. The very good adhesion forces between the individual layers are not affected, nor is the high strength or good printing efficiency.

Can also be used in the electrical industry

Thanks to their special properties, the high-quality Spectrum 3D PLA Thermoative filaments can also be used in the electrical industry. Especially where it is important to detect a change in temperature at an early stage, this material is ideally suited. For example, the production of temperature sensors, the coating of hot beverage cups or the display for battery and accumulator indicators can be made of Spectrum PLA Thermoactive.
