Spectrum PLA Carbon Filament
With the Spectrum PLA Carbon Filaments you can create unique models that have a special strength and a special matte look. Carbon fibers are added to the already high-quality PLA material, which positively influence the properties of the PLA material and thus create a unique material. By significantly increasing the compressive strength, you create robust models that can withstand quite a bit.
Absolutely robust material
The Spectrum PLA Carbon material has a significantly increased strength, hardness and compressive strength compared to pure PLA material. This improvement is achieved by adding 10% carbon fibers. This not only makes your model more stable, but also increases adhesion to the working platform. It also increases the resistance to abrasive wear of the printed components. The addition of the carbon fibers also creates a matte material surface.
Aesthetics and quality combined
The unique properties of carbon PLA allow its use in the production of components that require high strength and hardness while maintaining dimensional stability. The most common is the production of spacers that are subjected to static compressive loads. In addition, the increased aesthetic qualities of the manufactured elements allows the use of this material for the production of decorative parts and external elements of the structure that highlight the design of the product or its prototype.
Fields of application:
- Components with high strength, hardness and dimensional accuracy.
- spacers subjected to static pressure loads
- Decorative objects
- Decorative parts that emphasize the design of a product
- prototypes
