Spectrum S-Flex 90A Filament
Models created with a 3D printer are usually very strong and rigid. However, if you want to create models that are flexible and have a good lamination between the layers, you should use the Spectrum S-Flex 90A filaments. These high-quality filaments are made of TPU material that has many good properties, including high UV resistance and durability.
TPU material for flexible parts
The Spectrum S-Flex 90A filaments are made from the raw material TPU. TPU is the abbreviation for thermoplastic polyurethane. This material is a synthetic plastic that is characterized by its high elasticity and combines the best properties of thermoplastics and elastomers. Here, the chemical composition determines the hardness and flexibility of the material, making TPU a versatile polymer. In addition to the above-mentioned properties, the Spectrum S-Flex 90A material is also characterized by good UV resistance and high aging resistance. The flexible filament Spectrum S-Flex 90A is resistant to weak and dilute acids and bases but also all common industrial oils and chemicals.
Where durability and flexibility are critical
Thanks to up to 500% elongation at break, high elongation and tear resistance and high UV resistance, you can use Spectrum S-Flex 90A filaments to manufacture protective covers or vibration dampers. The resistance to the action of hydrocarbons and the good lamination between layers allow the production of sealing elements that must be resistant to all types of service fluids and ensure the highest possible sealing.
